GRAIN AND PRODUCE.
The market generally has been quiet during the week. The improved prices recently current, however, have been fully maintained, and the values of some of the lines have had a hardening tendency.
Wheat.—Good milling samples are worth 4s Id to 4a 2d, while a firat-claas parcel is saleable at 4s 3d to 4s 4d. Tuscan has been sold freely during tho week for seed purposes at 4d 6d to 4s 9d.
Oats have not undergone any appreciable alteration in price. The firm tone noted in our last report, however, for milling and good i'eed qualities, is fully sustained. For milling parcels the quotations are Is (id to Is 7d. Good stout feed Is 4d to Iβ sd. Ordinary Jots Is Id to Is 2d. Barley.—The market for this grain has in no way altered, and values are about the same. Potatoes continue at about last week's rates with only moderate enquiry, 21s to 22s Gd for large lines. Grass S«ed.—The business done has boon mostly in second bands. A few fnrmerß , lots have been purchased at 2s 3d to 2s Gd. Dairy Produce.—Hams and bacon are quoted at 9|d, with an easier feeling. Butter and cheese unaltered.
