General Roberts has further been 1 ordered to act in conjunction, with the troops nnder Generals Phayree and Sandeman from Bolan Pass so that the combined forces may operate againat Ayoub Khar,' > r It now transpires that the telegraph line between Cabul and the frontier was not cut by hostile tribes aa at first supposed, but was interrupted from sortie other cause.
