Friday, July 30th, 1880. (Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., R.M.) CATTLE TRESPASS. The following parties were mulcted in the sum of fn-each and costs for the above oft'itic": John Lomlrigan, Goorge Kearney,

breaking in a horse in the Public streets, and the second, firing off a gun within the boundaries of the Borough, in each case accused pleaded guilty, but urged in extenuation his ignorance ot committing any offence.—Dismissed with a caution. *'' UNREGISTERED DOG. William Curry was charged with having in his possession on July 27th an unregistered dog. Defendant pleaded not guilty. Sergeant Willis deposed that defendant had a dog, and that although he had been asked several times, he had failed to produce .a-f eceipt of its being registered. Defendant stated that he had given Mr Clladwick the ,- money to get the dog registered during the time of tho late Clerk, and that he (Mr Chadwick) had done so, as would be seen by the block" in the register-book, but that the dog had been wrongly described. The name and age were right, but tbe colour wrong.
