Messrs H.* Matspn, and Co, report :— On Thursday at ouir Canterbury "wool stores we held our usual weekly sale of the above; ■ there wae an average attendance; of the trade, and of fully , 6d per akin was established over late quotations. Our catalogue consisted of 27JQ. sheepskins, 98 packages rough fat, 414 a few pacWa'ges tallow,/every liije being, quitted at prices as under, viz., btttehere' best croBS-bredfl made 5a 9d to 6e 2d; one imtchetß , itneUnaking Gs'lOdeaoh ; second , quality, 4e 6d to 5e 7d each ; medium, 3e 4dtp4a 5d each,; butchers' host imerirjof made4e to 4s 8d each; second quality, 3s ta 3s lid each; medium,, 2e to 2b lid each ; country akine, b ( est, 6a 4d to 9a 3d each ; medium from 2s 6d to 5s 3d , inferior, badly cared for, 9d to 2s 3d each. Butchers' , be«t rough fat made to 2fd per lb ; second quality, 2£d per Ib ; none sold at lower figures than above. Hides, : 3£d per lb; damaged hides, Calfskins, Tallow, 2£d in pkge, and 24« per 'cwt in ensks. . , , ■ ~ ~,
