Undick the heading of matrimony in the columns in the Te Awamutu Chronicle appears the following strong mixture :— Wanted, by a young and handsome storekeeper, who has been lately seized with strong connubial symptoms, a female partner, with or without capital. She must be good-looking, bashful, sweettempered, able to mount a ladder and get at the top shelves, serve behind the counter, chat with customers, back-bite her neighbours' wives, spank a baby, play with the piano, cheat the washerwoman, stamp at and domineer over the servants, carbonise tbe joint for dinner, dress above her station, swoon when her husband swears at the buot-jack, and cry or go into hysterics whenever convenient. Any young lady possessing the above qualifications is sure to make a good match.—apply to the editor, who has carte, and will afford every information.
