SNOBISM.
To the Editor of the Akaroa Mail.
Sir,—l think it is a pity that the Road Boards had not been as short, sharp, and decisive with Mr F. as ho would be with you; which, if they had, would have nipped his money-making bmwnese in the bud. I feel for you, Mr Editor. If Mr F. had the power the Road Boards have, then you would be ousted very unceremoniously, *ith a gentle reminder or two to the effect that when and 1 where you pitched ngain not to have the assurance to criticieela full-blown J.P. of blue blood proclivities, and belonging to the knickerbocker contingent, who are Always needy, with any amount of the "haw-haw" about tliem; ' I think yoii hat! better advertise the Mail for sale- now Mr F. has withdrawn his subscription. I'll give you a bid, anil the' bumptioiw gentleman might go in for it just to fill up his time. *^If : he:ih6ught, the public would have to pay him for, all his, ideas upon jurisprudence, and othei -original matter that emanates from hia inventive brain. Nomore for the present.
, BUT NOT A SNOB.
