A vote of thanks was passed .to the Chairman, and the meeting adjourned.

We learn that it is intended to hold a meeting of the Committee in a month's time in order to put matte re connected with the society into working order. It

was decided that a sub-committee conaiating of ladies shouM bo appointed to supervise matters connected with the needlework department and other arrangements in which the "fair ccx" always prove themselves much greater adepts than the male portion of any community.
