A KNOCK-DOWN BLOW
To the Editor of the'Aharoa Mail. ■ Sir, —I wish the advertisement .standing in our name to be at once withdrawn. At the time your canvasser asked for our support (epeaking for. myself) I had doubts whether your circulation was large enough to do us any good. But, Mr Manning being very importunate I gave way. In addition to this, your paper has since so fallen in respectability that it is a question .now whether we . shall /not suffer .by any longer allowing our names to be exhibited in your columns. : I should also-wish 'my paper to be stopped when the time is up for which I prepaid. Youra obediently, , h.;h.fenton, For FENTON& WILKINS. Akaroa, Tuly 2,1880.
