The market during the week lias been exceedingly quiet, business in most lines having been partially.- etopped by the extremely wet weather that has lately prevailed. Wheat.—Quotations are 3s Gd for good milling, and 3a 3d to 3s 4d for average Bamples; chick wheat is in abundant supply.
Oats.—For first-class milling Is 4d to la 5d is obtainable, and feed quality ia Belling at Is Id to Is iid. - ,
Barley is without alteration, and unless of good quality is hard to quit. Potatoes. —A better enquiry has been felt during the past- week, and Bales are being mado at 22s Gd to 255. Flour has had fair business at £9 to £10, according to brand. . Grass Seed. —There has been next lo no business either in rye-grass or cocksfoot. Values are unchanged, and buyers to hold are not numerous..
Dairy Produce.—Butter is quoted at 9|d to lOd ; cheese, 4d to 4|d ; hams and bacon, 9£d.
