AKAROA RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Friday, June 25. (Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., R.M.,) FURIOUS RIDING. The adjourned case of furious riding against Win. Nicoll was heard this day. Constable M'Gorman was called, and stated that the pace might have been a little fast, but could not be called furious. The Bench were of a different opinion, but this being the first case fendant he was dismissed with a cantron. CATTLE TREBPASS. J. Londrigan was charged with allowing nine .calves to wander at large on the German Bay road on the 20th May laßt. Defendant admitted the charge, and w„§ fined 5s and costs. • The Court then adjourned.
