Wheat.—Large lines , of really good milling samples will meet with buyers at from 3s 6d to 3s 7d f.o.b. ; second quality milling is in good supply, with a- fair riemnnd at from 3a to 3s 34 f.o.k Chick wheat also is in large supply, and is being oifered at very low figures, viz., from la 9d to 2s 4d per bushel. ' - ..Oats.—lnquiries are on foot for good 'heavy milling samples, -suitable for slupVtierif at from la 4d'to Is 5d f.o.b. per buouej. feed qualities are passing into consumption at from Is lo la M per busliel ; inferior feed samples 9d to lid per budie.

Barley.—A rntiipr buttpr demand is apparent for paivelsof undeniable malting quality; for such 3s to 3s 4d per bushel is obtainable. Second-rate malting, 2s to 2s 6d ; discolored and inferior is almost unwaleable. ''

Potatoes are being more inquired for, but prices are unaltered. For immediate delivery 25d to 26s per ton in given. For forward delivery 35s to 3Gs per ton. ScWks extra in both cases.

• Grass Seed.—No business doing at present. PiiceH nominal.

Cheese and Butter.—Quotations are unaltsred. 4d to 4£d for the former, 9d to lOd for the latter.
