The Now Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received tlie following telegram from their London oflice, dated June 9 :— Wool.-—The sates closed flatly at an average decline of Id to Hd. The priu-
cipal decline has leen in cross-bred. Since tho clove ot last sule< the following reductions have been exhibited :—Superior greasy, 4d to Id'per lb; medium and inferior greasy, Id ; combing washed, Id ; medium and. inferior combing washed,.,l|d to 2d ; scoured, Id : cross-bred • greasy and combing washed, 3d ; lambs, market easier. 1 Up to date 360,000 bales have been sold. 25.000 bales have been withdrawn, and 200,000 bales have been taken for export. Trade in the manufacturing districts, is dull.'
