All that portion of the Provinc al District of Canterbury bounded on the 1 North by the sea ; on the South by the 1 South side of the Purau and Akaroa ■ Road and the Mount Herbert Peak , Road ; on the West by the: Port i Victoria District ; and on the East by 1 the road running through Section 32152, ' near Mount Fitzgerald, from its junction ■ with the Purau Road to the eastern boundary of Section 26938 ; thence , northerly by eastern boundary of that , section and sections 28'JSO and , 33517, thence easterly and northerly I along Section 28971) to the Native reserve, thence easterly and northerly along said reserve to Section 2-1702, thence south-easterly along south- » western boundary of latter section to road passing through the same, thence northerly by latter road to the beach at 1 Big Bay.
