HIS Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified, in pursuance of J the provisions of " The Canterbury Roads Ordinnnce Amendment Act, , 1877," that he has received a petition 1 praying that the boundaries of the Port 3 Levy and Pigeon Bay Road Districts, County of Akaroa, be altered as described » in the Schedule hereto. 5 If within two months from the date of 1 the first issue of this notice no counter-' petition shall have been received by him, His Excellency will proceed in the , manner prescribed by eection 2 of" Thej f Canterbury Roads Ordinance, 1872."
