AKAROA RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Monday, Apiul 26. (Before J. Aylmer, Esq., R.M.) MANSLAUGHTER. Annetta Maccioni, an Italian girl, appeared, accused .of manslaughter. Sorgl, Willis She was remanded for eight days to admit of evidence being collected. The Court thou adjourned. A special silting was held at 1 p.m. (BeCora Uli Worship the Mayor and H. W. Tohswill, Esq. J.P.) G. Johnson, from Little River, was charged by the Registrar with a breach
of tbe Registration Act, be having failed to register the birth of his child. Plaintiff alleged that the omission had been made by mistake. Fined 5s and costs.

George Brittan was charged by Constable Scott with furious riding on Saturday night last within the Borough. Plaintiff,' in defence, slated that he did not consider ho was riding fast. Fined 20s
