LITTLE RIVER CEMETERY BOARD.

A meeting of the Cemetery Board was held in the schoolroom, Little River, on Monday evening, the 19th mat. Present: Messrs G. R. Joblin, (chairman), Wm. Coop, W. Greenland and G. W. Westropp. MINLTSS. The minutes of .the previous meeting were read and confirmed. FENCING. A discussion took place about tenders for fencing, after which it was resolved that fresh tenders be called for according to amended specification, and also a plan and specification for ft form of fencing suggested by Mr. Joblin. • Mr Joblin mentioned loathe understood that the Little River Jload Board were about to form a ford crossing the stream on tbe road leading to Western Valley, he thought this very undesirable as the bank was very high, and the dead from the middle valley would have to be conveyed to the cemetery by that road ; he would suggest a bridge instead. It was resolved to write to tbe Little River Road Board on the subject. BANK ACCOUNTS. Mr Greenland said with reference to the banking account he did not wish to be Treasurer in name only but in reality, and he thought he should be supplied with the proper books, &c. Tlie meeting then terminated.
