STOCK REPORT.

Owing to the holidays, there was a very jpoor attendance at the Addington Saleyards on Wednesday, and business was very dull. Tho entries comprised 4459 •sheep, 161 cattle, and 7G pigs.

Sheep.—The bulk of the fat sheep sold at last quotations. We quote mutton at .2d per Ib. Very few stores were offered, and these were not all sold.

Cattle.—Fat cattle were in fair average •supply, and the greater portion were sold privately at from 18a to 20s per 1001b. Storea were chiefly confined to dairy stock, which wore in easier demand, and values, ■consequently, were not so high as last week.
