March 21—Amateur, ketch, Neilson, for Lyttelton. EXPORTS. Per Antelope—l 99 cheese, 4 pkga luggage, 7 empty hhds, 20 cases bottles, 18 cases fruit. Shippers—Vogan, Shadbolt, Victor, Brooks, Beecher, Vangioni, and Brown. Per Amateur—7ooo feet sawn timber, 44 bags graas seed, 12 bales wqol. Shippers—M'Lucau, Chatfield, flayiock, and Foley. The ship, Lady Jocelyn, at Lyttelton, took ill 360 B*cke of grain on Tuesday, in addition to the clearance list of last Saturday. She wiled on Wednesday. The Star of India took in about 1500 Backs of wheat on Tuesday. She sails about April 10 for London. The Magellan commences to load on Tuesday for the United Kingdom, for Mr C. W. Turner. Tho Union Company's steamer Tararua arrived in Lyttelton at 10 a in. on Tuesday last, having experienced very stormy weather in her passage down the coast. She left Sydney at 2 p.m. on the 11th, and arrived at Russell at 4 a.m. oa the 16th, coaled and resumed her voyage, -arriving at Auckland at 8 a.m. on the 117 th, sailed at 10 a.m. on the 18th, reached Gisborne at 5. 30. p.m. on the 19th, landed passengers and maile, but was unable to land cargo owing to the heavy sea. At 7. p.fu« she proceeded to Napier, ar riving off there at 6. a.m. on the 20th, steamed off and on till moon, but being unable to hold any communication with the shore, which was rendered impossible by the eaeterly galo end heavy sea that was breaking clean over the wharf, she proceeded on to Wellington. When about half way between tthe Kidnappers and Cape Turnegain, a heavy squall, partaking more of the nature of a whirlwind, of about h second's duration, swept over the forsward part <©£ the vessel, taking the fmetrysaif cleaei'out of her, and snapping the boom in half, carrying the after part Away to leeward. Arrived in Wellington at 11. 30. a.m. on the 21st, sailed at 4. p. m. mi .the 22nd, arriving as above. The tTararua left for Melbourne, via" Southern .ports, at 6. p. m. yesterday.
