There was but a moderate attendance of buyers at tho Addington Yards on Wednesday, and competition, especially for cattle, was exceedingly dull. The entries composed 6242 sheep, 446 cattle, and 40 pigsblieep. —A large supply of fat sheep was yarded, but a fair clearance was made at a slight reduction in price as compared with last week. The best lines made per lb. Lambs were in good supply, and were all cleared at from 4s Gd to 8s each, according to quality. Store sheep were freely taken up, and there was a fair enquiry for forward delivery. Cattle, —Beef was not very plentiful, but a decided drop in price had to be submitted to. Prime lots only made 21s per 1001b, the bulk being cleared at from £4 to £5 10a each, Female stores were neglected. i J ig« aie scarce, and are asked for at 5d per lb.
