ECLAT is closely related to Dagworth, The Barb, Yattendon, and Maid of All Work ; the latter won over £2000 in stakes, and like Eclat, jte out of a Premier mare. King Phillip, by Camden, out of a daughter of Shiel-na-Guira, is nearly full brother to Eclat, and won several races in New Zealand ; and, lastly, Eclat is closely related to the celebrated horse of the day—Chester.
