OPRSUANT- to "The Regulation of i _CT Local Elections Act, 1876,", and "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1876," notice is hereby given, that the following persons have been duly nominated as candidates for the office of Mayor of the Borough of Akaroa, viz.: Sjteech, William " t Penlington, William Waeckerle, Christian Jacob And I further give notice that a POLL will be taken at the offices of the said Borough Council, on WEDNESDAY, the 26th day of' November current, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., for the election of ONE of the above candidates to fill the said office of Mayor.
