Sir,—Tho prevailing custom of writing annonymously seems a cowardly way of attack. If a real or imaginary cause exists, surely the honest course to pursue is to write to the School Committee, and let them investigate so grave a charge as incompetency against the master. It is palpable that the present master cannot, without (other than juvenile) help carry on the work of so large a school efficiently. I remain, Sir, Yours, &c,
