PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LANDS FOR PUBLIC WORKS. is hereby given, in terms IN of secs.2l and 22 of "The Public Works Act, 1876," 'that it is proposed to take certain lands in French Farm Valley, in the said Road District, for the purpose of Forming a New Road with improved grades, as more particularly described and delineated on a plan now open for inspection at the offices of the Road Board, Duvauchelle's Bay. And the said Board further give public notice that all persons interested shall set forth in writing any well founded objections to the execution of such work or the taking of such land, within 40 days from the first publication of this notice, such objections to be addressed to the Chairman of the said Board. IN terms of sees 93 and 95 of ".The Public Works Act, 1876," notice is hereby given, that in terms of sub-sec 3 of the first recited clause of the above Act, that it is the intention of the Akaroa and Wainui Road Board to CLOSE that portion of the road running through Rhodes' Flat, Wainui, described as under and delineated in a plan to be seen at the office of the said Board, Duvauchelle's Bay, during twelve consecutive weeks from this date, and in lieu thereof to open a road also described as under and delineated on the said plan. Description of that portion of the proposed Mount liossu Road running through Mr Rhodes' property, Rhodes* Flat, Wainui.
