Melbourne, Sept. 4. The result of the official enquiry as to the cause of the collision of the steamer Claude Hamilton with the barque Ben in Hobson's Bay is that the certificate of the captain of the Claude Hamilton has been suspended for two months. In the- Legislative Assembly last night, the whole of the items of the tariff, as recently amended, were carried by a large majority. Sydney, Sept/4.
