AKAROA AND WAINUI ROAD BOARD NOTICE. rpHE Travelling Public are informed -L that the BRIDGES on the Main Road in the Akaroa and Wainui Road District are at present UNSAFE for Wheeled and Horse Traffic, pending repairs. A MEETING of the RATEPAYERS of the above District will be held at the Main Schoolhouse, Pigeon Bay, on SATURDAY, August 23, 1879, at 12 o'clock noon, for the purpose of Electing TWO members to serve on the Road Board, in the room of Messrs James Gillespie and James ITay, resigned. A Poll will be held, if required, on SATURDAY, August 30, 1879, from 12 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Pigeon Bay Schoolhouse.
