AKAROA RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Friday, July 11. (Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., R.M.,) UNREGISTERED DOGS. J. Beecher, J. M. Wood, C. W. Bridge. F. Orchard, D. Fyfe, G. Ward, 0. Alger, E. Hughes, W. Kenny, Isaac Curtis, Co Chi (a Chinaman), and J. Guthrie were charged with having unregistered dogs in their possession. Messrs Beecher, Ward, and Hughes wore each fined 20s and cost p. The remainder of the -cases were dismissed with - a caution. CATTLE TRESPASS. For a breach of the Borough By-laws of this nature, J. Woodill was lined 9s arid costs, j DISORDERLY CONDUCT. Samuel Thomas and William Thomas were each fin 3d 20s and costs for creating a disturbance. The information was laid under clause 26 of the Borough By-laws. CIVIL CASES. Wood Bros, and Co. obtained judgment by default in two small debt cases. The Court then adjourned.
