DOG POISONING.

To the Editor of the Akaroa Mail

Sir,—For the last few months, some mean, cowardly fellows have been travel-ling-^about.and .deliberately,, poisoning valuable dogs. >■ In one instance a man nearly fell a victim, only, luckily for him, his dog got, the sandwich first, and was poisoned. . If they 'poisoned their own places, it would not be so bad, but to come over people's land laying poison in all directions is a most dastardly act, and should, if discovered, be treated, criminally.—Yours, &c, HENRY T. WOESLEY. . Grehan Valley, July 12..
