Wheat, 3s 4d to 4s 6d per bushel; fowl's feed, 2s 6d to 3s; oats, new, 2s 4d to 6d; old, 2s 9d to 3s ; potatoes, £4 to, £4 ss; hay, new, £4; old, £6; chaff, £4 to £4 10s; straw, £2 ; bran, £4; flour, large sacks, £8 10s to £9 ; onions, 9s per cwt ;.. cheese, 7d to 8d per lb; bacon, 9£d per lb. Mr Henry Driver, on behalf of the N. Z. L. and M. A. C. (Limited), reports :— Prime beef fetched 27s '6d per lOOlbs ; medium do, 23s to 255. We sold 37 head at quotations. Fat calves—Only 4 yarded, and were sold at about last week's rates; Fat sheep—We sold a small draft of very prime cross-breds, heaviest weights being up to 338 3d each We quote mutton at 2d per lb'. Fat lambs—64 penned; 47 of which we sold at 9s each. Store cattle. No transactions to report.
