At the Congregational meeting held on Wednesday evening, a letter was read from the Rev. E. Walker, stating his intention of visiting Akaroa in company with the Rev. B. Tout on Monday, the 17th inst., and holding a week's Evangelistic Services in connection with the opening of the church. It was arranged for the opening sermon to be preached on March 23, and the tea meeting to be held on the following day. Since our last issue no business has been transacted in the Resident Magistrates' Court. Whether there wfll be a Court to-day depends upon the success or otherwise of the Clerk in impounding two Justices, as the Resident Magistrate is absent attending to Assesment Court business. .
