IN conformity with the provisions of " The Canterbury Roads Ordinance, 1872," and " The Regulation of Local Elections Act, 1876," section 46, I hereby give notice that an ELECTION will be held at the offices of the Akaroa and Wainui Road Board, Duvauchelle's Bay, on FRIDAY, the 21st day of March, 1879, for the purpose of electing ONE Member to fill an extraordinary vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr John Duxbury.
