AKAROA RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.
Friday, Feb. 21. (Before Justin Aylmer, Esq., R.M., and his Worship the Mayor.) abusive language. James Matthews was charged with using abusive and threatening language to his wife, Christina Matthews. Defendant was ordered to be bound over, himself in £20, and two sureties of £10 each to keep the peace for twelve months, in default one month's imprisonment. ■ The Court then adjourned. Monday, Feb. 24. (Before Justin Aylmer, Esq.,R.M.) DRUNKENNESS. Barbara Williams, charged with having been drunk and disorderly, was discharged. threatening language. The same defendant was charged with having made use of threatening language
to Robert Bayley, to the effect that she would burn his bouse down. Ordered to find two sureties in £10 each to keep the peace for twelve months, in default one month's imprisonment. The Court then adjourned
