Sib, —I noticed intbeChristchurch Press issue dated 11th inst., that a Kaiapoi householder suggests an interpretation of rule 7, regulations for Civil, Service, include School Committees under the term " Local Bodied." I think he; is wrong., Yetj W| have jn our very midst in the •' flupper Ouse," as it is called, the' Chairman of the County Council, who is also Land Tax Commissioner; adtihg in direct contravention of the above rule. What would be said if a Road Board Chairman, did this??
