Some genera] conversation here ensued, after which the election of a new School Committee took place, when the following householders were declared duly elected, viz.: — Messrs Fitten, Olphert, Tyson, Walters, lialfe, Watkins, and John Reynolds.

A vote of thanks to the outgoing Committee and to the Char-man terminated the proceedings. At a meeting of the School Committee held immediately afterwards, Mr B. Kalfe was elected Chairman and Treasurer, and ~Mx Fitten was appointed to counter-sign all cheques.
