For inferior cattle the bidding was slack, but all fairly fatted were in demand, and prices ranged from 27s for middling to 33s for prime, quality, with steady enquiry. Sheep are numerous ; stores, iioiaii.il value 3s to $s each, but fat sheep were in good enquiry—small sized wethers 3}d," large sheep, 3d per lb, ewes from 2sd to 3d. ,La-nibs. yieve numerous, and all of choice /quality were eagerly competed for.
