FROM THE LYTTELTON TIMES. Christchurch, Friday Evening. GRAIN AND PRODUCE. Although the business of the week has not been extensive or marked by any special feature much outside the ordinary trade Toutfne, yet we can report a better enquiry for several lines. Wheat is steady at 3s 9d to 4s, according to samples. Oats. —Small lots are being bought at 3s 10dto4s. • Flour.—We repeat our quotation of £9 to £10, according to brand. Graes Seed. —The new crop will very shortly be in the market, when the extent and the quality of the bulk will be more determinate. AH information at present to hand points, however, to a light yield as far as quantity is concerned. Dairy Produce.—Butter and cheese are unaltered. Hams and bacon, in cloth, 7£d to Bd.
