As a three-year-old he took First Prize at the Tasmanian Pastoral Association's Show, and since that time he has taken First Prize in his class and against all comers at the Banks Peninsula Pastoral Association's Shows in 187G and 1877. ECLAT is closely related to Dagworth, The Barb. Yattendon, and Maid of All Work ; the latter won over £2000 in stakes, and, like Eclat, is out of a Premier mare..
