Also, any members having in their possessionany ammunition or other goods, the property of the said Company, will please forward particulars, that the same may be sold, and any outstanding accounts settled. SIR, —We, the undersigned Electors of Wainui Riding, in the County of Akaroa, respectfully request that you will allow yourself to be nominated as a Candidate for the Representation of the Riding at the ensuing Election of a County Councillor, to be held in November. We have every confidence in your ability to represent tin's Riding, and will use our best endeavors to secure your election at the Board of the Akaroa County Council. * William M'Kay Joseph Bates Jas. My views are well known on all subjects affecting the interests of the district. As a member of a Road Board, I may state at once that I hold the (/pinion that these bodies, who have done so much in the past to develope the resources and open up the means of communication of the Country, should be the only administrators of local public funds. If elected, I can assure you that I will give my best services, not only to the Riding I would represent, but in the best services of the Peninsula. TO THE ELECTORS OF THE LITTLE RIVER RIDING. aENTLEMEN,— Having been requested by a large number of influential Electors of the above Riding to offer myself as a Candidate at the forthcoming Election for the County Council, I hereby offer my services for the general good of the district, and the Peninsula generally. My views are that the Road Boards are the proper parties to spend the money, and that the County Council should not curb or interfere with their proper functions and liberties.
