MAOKI CHIEF is a bay horse with black points, rising 6 years old, 16_- hands high, good temper, sound constitution, and a sure foal2*etter. MAORI CHIEF was bred by^Mr E. J. Joblin, his sire is Lord Glasgow, a well known horse, who took first prizes repeatedly at the Canterbury ' P. & A. Association's Shows. His dam ' was bred by the late W. Thompson, Esq., ' formely Provincial Auditor, and was by King Fergus, out of a pure Clyesdale mare, that Mr Thompson imported from Scotland. He will Travel from Little River along the Harbor to Wainui, returning to the Head of the Bay ; from thence to Akaroa, and back to Little River. Terms — £2 2s per mare, payable at end of the season.
