The noon train frapi Oamaru did not arrive till 3 pm. in consequence of the accident. The damage to the engines is hot so great as was st first expected. The breaking of the buffer of one of them aud the damaging of the buffers of two of the waggons were the oill| injuries sustained by the plant.
