Since the ]ate rains the growth of feed throughout the country has been very great, and was much wanted by graziers all over the Province. At the Addington Yards on Wednesday. 3720 sheep and 327 head of cattle were yarded. The small snpply of sheep brought forward caused an advance in prices, there being a rise of fully 2s per head on last •week's prices. We quote as an average of :at sheep from 3d to 3id per lb. Beef. —A very large supply of beef same to hand, for which description the biddings were languid, and in consequence the bulk was passed in not sold. A few pons of extra prime quality made an , E-vereg?. of from 40s tc 42s 6d per lOOlbs. Medium lots being difficult to place at 35s ;er lOOlbs. In Stokes there wag nothing doing
