County Council will be held at the House on the Hill Top, on THURSDAY 26th September Next, at 11 a.m., to confirm the following resolutions, passed at a Special .Meeting of the said Council, heldr August 29 :— 1. That this Council considers that one member should be taken from the Okain's Road Board District now represented by the three ridings of Raupo, Okain's, and Le Bon's, and that Little River riding should return two members instead of one as at present. 2. That the Okain's Bay Road District be divided into two ridings; that the Main Valley Road, Okain's Bay, from sec. 20956 to sec. 4976 be the boundary, and that they be called Le Bon's Riding and Okain's Riding. 3. That the Little River Riding be divided into two ; that the boundary be the Kaituna River to its source westward of sec. 12357 ; thence in a direct line to Mount Herbert Peak ; and that the ridings be called Little River and Tai Tapu respectively. Benching, Forest Clearing, Walling, Culverts, &c, of about 3440 links upper part of the Mount Bossu road, commencing at peg 237, and terminating at peg 26 at the top of the ridge. 3. Widening, Filling, and Grading 12 chains (more or less) ef the end of St. John's road, town end Akaroa, commencing at peg 1, near Malmanche's, and ending at peg 13, Waeckerle's corner. 4. Quarrying, Breaking, &c, 450 yards of 1\ inch metal, Pigeon Bay Main road, near Mrs Mclntoish's. 5. Forming, Culverting, and Bridging 24 chains (more or less) of the Robinson's Bay Valley road, commencing at bridge near Mr Duxbury's, and terminating at Mr John Brown's gate. Specifications to be seen at the Road Board Office, Duvauchelle's Bay, for the three last, on and after Monday, the 23rd instant.
