(RETJTER's SPECIAL TO THE PRESS (agency.) Melbourne, Sept. 17. The Alliance sailed to-day, and the Ringarooma direct for Wellington yesterday Sydney, Sept 17. At a meeting of the Agricultural Society to-day, the Governor presiding, it was decided to hold an International Exhibition. Public subscriptions are to be solicited, and the Government will be asked to apply to Parliament for proportionate aid. A match is nearly arranged between Trickett and Rush for the championship, on fixed seats. Trickett's hand is healed. Adalaide, Sept.l 7. Obituary—Jndge Stow, aged 50. An abundant harvest is expected.
