At the cattle sale calves fetched £2 13s to £2 14s ; yearlings, £3 5s to £3 15; eighteen month heifers, £4 to £4 7s 6d ; two years old, £5 ; cows, with calves, £6 12s 6d to £8 2s 6d ; cows, calving, £9 to £10; three j'ear steers, £6 ; working bullocks, £25,10s per pair.
