CATTLE SALE. Akaroa, Sep. 5.

Mr C. W. Bridge reports a sale of dairy stock, &c, at Mr G. Armstrong's, Mount Vernon, on Wednesday last. The attendance was good, and stock realised as under:—3s head cows, £6 to £7 10s ; 10 superior heifers, £7 15s to £8 10s ; 2 heifers with calves at foot, £8 5s each ; 5 head steers, £4 ss. With the probable immediate improvement in feed, the demand for the above class of stock is looking up.
