CORN EXCHANGE REPORT.
The following is the report for the week ending Friday evening : — Grass Seeds are still in good demand, and there is no alteration in the prices Top samples are worth 7s to 7s Gd per bushel; medium, 5s to os Gd ; cocksfoot is still inquired for, and is worth 7d to 7W. Several parcels of grass seed now coining forward are very badly cleaned ; this to a great extent prevents business being done, as both buyers and sellers are dissatisfied. Potatoes. — First class samples, guaranteed fit for shipment, find ready sale at £4 5s to £4 12s 6d. Cheese and Bdtter.—ln these articles there is no alteration to note. Any very prime butter coming forward would find ready sale at from 9d to 10d ; cheese 5d to sid.
