Market 'quotations.—Flour, colonial, £11 ss, overstocked ; hams, 9d ; bacon, 8d ; cheese, 7d, 'overstocked. There is a good demand for butter at lOd to lid for prime ; potatoes, £4 10s to £4 15s, with upward tendency.
Waitara, Aug. 29. News was brought in this morning morning by a native from Kawhia that the schooner Kaiuma, which left here on the 14th with a cargo of cattle, is _ total wreck off that place, and that all hands have perished.
