THE Little River Road Board at their next MEETING on September 2nd, intend to order that a RATE of SIXPENCE in the £ be Levied upon all Rateable Property in the district, for the year ending March 31, 1879, payable on and after the 9th day of September next. THE Okain's Road Board hereby invite TENDERS for the LEASE, including the right to levy all dues (as per scale) of the JETTIES in Okain's and Le Bon's Bays respectively. Sealed tenders, marked "Tender for Jetty," must be sent in to the Board Office, Okain's Bay, on or before Saturday, the 24th instant, at noon ; but the Board need not necessarily accept the highest or any tender. AKAROA AND WAINUI ROAD BOARD NOTICE. TENDERS are invited for a portion of the Mount Bossu Road, consisting of Benching, Filling, Stone Crossings, Culverts, Forest Falling, and Clearing. Work commencing at peg No. 123, at the end of Mr Thorpe's survey. Mr McKay will point out the spot on enquiry. Specification to be seen at the Road Board Office, Duvauchelle's Bay. Tenders must be sent in on or before Saturday, the 31st instant, at 12 o'clock. Tenders to be endorsed and addressed to the Chairman. JOHN BARWICK, Clerk to Board.
