Ntttt's farm at Tai Tapu, are now instructed by him to hold a CLEARING SALE OF LIVE AND DEAD STOCK, ON TUESDAY, AUGUST 27, At the HOMESTEAD, TAI TAPU, ! At 11 o'clock, When they will offer the undermentioned, viz.:— The valuable draught Entire SCOTCH JOCK, The thoroughbred Entire ST. LEONARDS, Three off, by Talisman, dam Amuri, bred by Nosworthy. Thoroughbred colt, rising 2 yrs., by Marmion, out of Brown Bess, Brown Bess by Traducer 1 thoroughbred brown mare, Corruption, 4 years old, by Traducer, dam Betty Martin, in foal to Kauri. (See "Stud > Book") Pair chesnut carriage horses ; a perfect match ; 4 and 5 years old, guaranteed staunch in single and double harness Pair draught mares, Betsy, 7 yrs.; Polly, 3 years.; staunch in any harness Draught horse, 3 yrs., out of Betsy, by Campsie 11., just broken to plough harness. Dick Turpin, bay, aged, staunch, and good in all harness 1 yearling filly, and one 2-year-old draught colt by Scotch Jock Sour Grapes, steeplechase Horse, by Golden Grape, 5 yrs. Winner at several country meetings, clever jumper, and quiet, can be recommended as a good weight carrying hunter. Brown cob mare, in foal to Scotch Jock quite quite and staunch. 1 gray mare, good in saddle and harness, 4 yrs. 6 unbroken colts and fillies, by Presto and Marmion. PONIES. 1 grey, in foal to St. Leonards, a perfect pony, boys' ponies, quiet, and accustomed to carry a lady. CATTLE. 1 shorthorned bull, by Royal Gwynne, out of Primrose. 1 cow, Primrose, by the imported bull President, dam a purebred cow ; a perfect picture, in calf to Mr S. Garforth's hull DAIRY COWS. 30 head dairy cows, springing and full profit ; these are a really good lot, and well worthy the attention of dairy farmers and gentlemen in want of quiet cows, hnl sboro cattle. STUD SHEEP. 10 pure-bred Lincoln ewes and hoggets ; ewes imported by the Hon W. Robinson, the hoggets out of above ewes by ram imporied by Mr Lysaght. 10 Leicester ewes, bred by Mr Nutt, winner of several first prizes. 1 imported Lincoln ram (Lysaght) 50 2 and 4-tooth ewes, LincolnLeicester, in lamb to imported Lincoln am FAT SHEEP. 100 shorn lambs really good mut ton 200 at prime quality nd 4-tooth PIGS. I 6 pure-bred Berkshire sows and litters by Hay's imported hog 100 store pigs FOWLS. 50, comprising prize game fowls (late Mr Porter's), and useful Darn dc-Or. PEACOCK AND PEAHEN.
