AN APOLOGY. I THE undersigned, do hereby acknowledge to have circulated an utterly untrue report about Mr. John WABE,»of Okain's Bay, respecting the cause of an illness from which he suffered in Christchurch Hospital some three years ago, a report calculated to greatly damage his character;; and I hereby beg to apologise to him for having done-so, and to retract all I have said about him as utterly untrue.
