The Australian cricketers played against eleven of Cambridge University at Lord's.
The first innings of the University closed for 285. The highest score was made by the Hon. A. Lyttelton, 72. The Cambridge bowling was very effective. P. H. a fast bowler, alone took seven wickets.' '
